The Professional Educators Union had a fruitful and successful General Executive Council meeting over the weekend in Hammanskraal. The Council was the penultimate event prior to the Congress, scheduled for the first week of October in Pretoria. The Council will be followed by a serious of Provincial and Districts meetings, whose express purpose will be to communicate and cascade important resolutions to structures and entire union membership. The Union will also hold a series of a labor workshops with an aim of throwing a caution to members against contravention of of the underlying policies governing their conditions of employment.
