Moroaseleka Klaas Mohlatlole was born and bred at Dipururung Village – Moroke in Sekhukhune District of Limpopo. Born on the 11th of August 1964 as the last born of the eight children of the late Mr Nkuke and the late Mrs Dikwetse Mohlatlole. Klaas started his Primary education in 1971 at Magakala Primary and completed at Diphala Primary school in 1977.He had done his secondary education at Ntwampe Secondary where he passed matric in 1982. He studied for Electrical Trade Theory till N3 at Usizo Technical School in Katlehong Gauteng Province in 1983. He started teaching occupying SGB Maths and Science post at Ntwampe Secondary School in 1984 to 1985. He also taught at Mmutlane Secondary School in 1986 . Klaas obtained SPTC at Mamokgalake Chuene College of Education in 1987. He started teaching permanently in 1988 to 1990 when he was promoted to an HOD at Magabaneng Primary School in 1991. In 1994 he was appointed principal at the same school. He later obtained SPTD with UNISA in 2003 and Ace in SML with UNIVEN in 2010. He further obtained Practical Labour Law Certificate in Education in 2011 with NMMU and SDF Certificate with SETA in 2017. From 2004 to 2007 he was seconded to Sekhukhune District of Education to train and implement IQMS. He was appointed Limpopo CPTD Resource Person in 2008 and later SACE Ambassador in 2012. PEU seconded him to be Limpopo CTU ATU corresponding officer in 2011. Klaas joined TUATA in 1984 when he started teaching in 1984 and later elected Vice Chairperson in Itireleng Branch in 1990. He was later elected MLC Chairperson of Sekhukhune East District of PEU in 1994. He held the same position until he was elected Limpopo MLC in 2008. He held the same position for two terms until he was elected Chairperson of Limpopo in 2017. He then joined NEC in January 2019 by co-option until he was confirmed by Congress in 2019 to continue. He is now serving PEU as a seconded official with effect from May 2019.
Klaas had been married to the late Mmaphiri Evelyn Mohlatlole since November 1994 till October 2017 when God officially terminated their marriage. Their marriage was blessed with three children – two sons Lepulana(22),Nkuke(13) and the only lovely daughter Dikwetse(9). Klaas is a Christian who loves nature and film making.
