Ngobeni Shaniseka Charles is born and bred at Tshivhuyuni village, Makhado Municipality, Vhembe District, Limpopo Province. I was born on 27 November 1968, as the fifth born of Mrs Tsatsawane Maria and the late Mr Hlengane Willy Ngobeni.
Charlie wa Muchangana completed his Primary education at Tshivhuyuni Primary School in 1983. He completed his Secondary education at Lishavhana Secondary school way back in 1989. He obtained his BAED degree from the University of Venda in 1994, BEd (Management, Law and Systems) from formerly Potchefstroom university in 2001, Advance Certificate in Education, majoring in English from UFS in 2011, Certificate in Practical Labour Law from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2013, and Certificate in Team and Time Management from North West University in 2017.
Charles started teaching in 1995 at Tshikhuthula Secondary school, teaching English, History and Economics. He joined TUATA the same date he completed the assumption forms. In 2003 he was redeployed to Ntshuxi Combined School where he taught English and Economics. In 2008 he relocated to Ozias Davhana Secondary school, where he specialized in English. It is in this school where his love for debate bore fruits. He took his Book Club, Team Achievers to Funda Mzantsi Championships in George, Western Cape, where they brought home silverware. In 2017 he was interviewed by Palesa of Morning Live while in George with his learners. He also participated in Xitsonga in the following categories: Debate, Book Review, Reading and Spelling bee. He became the overall winner of Xitsonga in the 8th Edition of Funda Mzantsi Championships in 2017. In January 2018, Charlie wa Muchangana was appointed an HOD for Languages and Humanities at Lishavhana Secondary School, his home school. He is still working there. After joining TUATA in 1995, he has served as Klein Letaba Branch SAC Chairperson, Zoutpansberg West District Labour Chairperson from 2001 to 2015. In 2015 he was co-opted as Limpopo Provincial Editor. In 2016 he was elected unopposed as tge National Editor. He was again re-elected into the position in the 2019 Elective Congress,
He has been a long serving goalkeeper of PEU until to date. He has featured in the ANTUSA Games, and is not thinking of hanging gloves anytime soon. He is married to Juliet Chauke, and have two beautiful daughters from this marriage, Vutomi (9) and Vuñwe (2). He has two boys ( Sungulani 32, and Hlulani 23) and an elder daughter Cherubim 18) from the defunct marriages. Charlie wa Muchangana is a member of The Church of the Holy Ghost, and a renowned interpreter during Annual Conferences.
