The Professional Educators Union(PEU) wishes the Class of 2019 all of the best, as they start with their National Senior Certificate Examinations.

You have indeed come a long in your schooling journey to reach to this import stage, which has a potential to unlock numerous opportunities that can bring a huge positive change in your lives. Thus, you dare not let anything and anybody to defocus you at this point.

Thanks to our teachers in general, PEU members in particular, for the selflessness commitment and huge sacrifices you made throughout the academic year, as you endeavoured to ensure that each learner is thoroughly prepared and psyched up to be equal to the task before them.

To our dear parents, thank you for bringing us those wonderful souls and supporting them up to this stage in their lives. Thank you for being there for them as they were forever troubling you with homeworks and assignments, throughout their Grades. Thank you for being there for teachers, when we needed you more often at school, so that we could find workable solutions to challenges we experienced.

All we were doing was to prepare for this last lap, which is the final arbiter in deciding for their future.
