The Professional Educator’s Union had, in collaboration with Hotel 224 in Pretoria, observed the Madiba 67 minutes, by having breakfast with learners from Laezonia and Musenga Vhadzimu primary schools .

It was a telling moment, to see young ones in high spirit as they were handed with tokens of appreciation.

Learners from each school rendered poems in honour of the great state man and renowned leader of the people.

The Professional Educator’s Union (PEU ) in collaboration with Hotel 224 in Pretoria, will have Breakfast with disadvantaged learners from identified primary schools in and around Pretoria , on 18 July 2018.

This joint philanthropic gesture is in support of the wish and vision of Utata Nelson Mandela, in his quest to make a difference in lives of others, with biases towards the indigents.

Learners will, over and above breakfast, be handed in school uniform and other goodies.

Basic Education Minister encourages Second Chance Matric Support Program

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has held an information session-sharing on the Second Chance Matric Support programme which the department runs.

This is part of the national road show, educating communities about the programme.
